What should I not to do if I don't want any problems?
Do not save recovered files to the same drive and partition from where they were recovered.
Is the product safe for my data? I don't want to lose more than I've lost already.
The product doesn't perform any write operation to source drive. As it's important to keep the drive with lost files untouched, do not specify the source drive as destination - do not save files to it.
I don't see my drive with my email bases in the list of drives available for scan.
Make sure your drive is visible in BIOS or in My Computer as a drive with assigned drive letter. If you're trying to recover the data from flash card connected to PC via removable device, try to use card reader. If you need to recover data from internal memory of removable device and don't see it in drive list of our product, copy all the data from this device to any local folder and try to scan it.
What's the difference between the wizard modes?
Recover email after a disk crash scans the whole drive to find and reconstruct email database while Repair email database is used to scan only selected folders or files. Depending on your problem you can select first or second wizard mode. The last, third mode, Address book recovery is used to start free Address Book Recovery product.
How can I speed up the scan?
You can scan only selected folder or even selected database file (only if you know where your emails are stored and there was not problems with your drive) with Repair email database mode, or you can use Fast Scan way to scan the whole drive.
What's the difference between Fast Scan and Full Scan modes of whole drive scan?
Fast Scan does not use PowerSearch technology, so you can use it only if you're sure your drive has little damage and when you don't need to find lost attachments. The parts of unregistered at file table email base will not be collected and recreated in case of Fast Scan.
